 Ghandi's custom creations

This was a mint tri logo carded figure Wink honest .....Only joking lol, this was in a bunch of figures quoted as been near mint (Think they were refering to a half sucked polo that had been stuck to the carpet for a few years)

Any way rather than bin it ive cleaned up all the nastys and repainted it a bit closer to the char in star wars. This was basically a tester to see how my paints stick to the figure and it seems to have coated well.

nice work mate , what is the mandalor skulls ? paint or transfer ? .. also what paints did you use , maybe ct can tell us which paints are best ,, as i fancy doing some customs myself Wink

they are great ian you got a dremmel ?
i fancy doing a luke x wing with a luke bespin head cut out the helmet any one got any beaters of those figures ?

yup carl , i bought a dremmel with a shed load of attatchments from the booty a few weeks ago , i have a few figures in mind of what i want to do , but am trying to find out the best paints for the job

The paints ive been using are GamesWorkshop acrylics and seem to stick/cover pretty good. Some of the lighter shades need a foundation paint first then the top coat. The skulls were free hand but took 3 goes and still not happy lol, Gonna put some more work into him tomorrow seen a few changes i need to make so ill post next round tomorrow Smile

still , not a bad effort gandalf , ,
i saw a custom boba before where in the write up , the guy said he painted the bantha skulls with a single brush fibre held in tweezers , but the detail was amazing , will try and find it on google Smile

I paint GW miniatures to a good gaming standard and have all the top kit you can buy its just my skill is slightly lacking for the results i want lol Smile

i grabbed a dremmel from the bootsale for £4 , tis the best place to scoot about , i have a few beater figures here , gonna see what i can come up with Smile

tbh its just a tester, if i was to paint 1 to be decent then id put a little more time into it for you. clean up flashings ect do some better wear on armor and better detail.
