Just in general.
Was excited explaining to someone the difference between the normal fett and the trilogo one and they asked when did they first get released.
Was stunned.
Then lied '1983'
Sounds legit.

cheers jim Wink

i noticed he was breaking a full falcon up for bits and all the other items looked ok
the string looks the right colour but i have seen 2 types of bead just wonded if they were both real or if 1 was the repro ? or 1 could be for the early sw ships and the other was for the rotj ships

any one into there ships ?

I have a couple things I am looking at....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251025521308?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160772701183?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Any thoughts on which guys? Thanks!!!

I think that's my pic the lighter grey 'stick' is fake ( string & ball is fake too )
ie. this is the common repro

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

BUT there is a ball that looks exactly like that (smaller facets) & I am not convinced about the smooth ball being legit.

Rolo that top R2 is way overpriced. Don't get caught up with the dark blue, teal, cobalt variation crap.

yes it is your pic james mate Wink

forgot to mention that one with the white string was repro but there are genuine ones that look the same

i just showed it to show the 3 different ball shapes buddy

the thread said the smooth one has been found in palitoy falcons

hey james so you saying the light gray ones are fake mate and the dark gray are genuine ?

got to agree with james on the top r2 wow expencive affraid but it is mint r2-d2 Drool

I like that top R2...not so much for the teal top...but that vibriant sticker! Deep blue make the white brighter! It is pricy......is it worth $50? If I could get it a bit cheaper I might take a shot at it.

I will try to dig about for my Falcon training ball Jase

hi patrick

that r2 is a minter mate as far as price is concerned i allways say if you realy like it and you know you would be happy to have it in your collection does price realy matter that much ?
if you realy want it mate you go for it offer him $50 and see what he says
if you go for second best you just know you will allways be looking for a better one later on
and wish you had bought the mint one in the first place lol!

good luck if you decide to go for it mate r2-d2 thumbs up
